Laura Thoma, owner of Thoma Designs, has spent her life pursuing the arts, beginning as a professional dancer, choreographer and dance instructor. She has taught in New York City and in Chicago at the Academy for the Performing Arts, Roosevelt University and Columbia College, where she was the musical theatre dance coordinator. Following a third knee injury and subsequent surgery, Laura turned her passion from the performing arts to the visual arts through photography.

Laura is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and currently works as a creativity coach, motivational speaker, workshop facilitator as well as a photographer and mixed media artist. Laura is passionate about creativity and is eager to help people unlock the mysteries of their creative process by sharing with them The Seven Stages of Creativity™. She loves encouraging clients to partake in daily self-expression that allows them to flourish creatively in both their personal and professional lives.
